A STUDY OF SOCIAL SKILLS OF NINTH CLASS STUDENTS IN RELATION TO THEIR SELF-CONCEPT

Abstract The present study was conducted with the purpose to see a comparative and relation study of social skills and self-concept among 9th class students. The present study was conducted to a randomly selected sample of 100 secondary school students. The tool of “Social skills Rating Scale” was developed by Dr. Vishal Sood, Dr. Aarti Anand & Suresh Kumar (2012) & “Self- Concept Rating Scale” was developed by Dr.(Mrs.) Pratibha Deo (1998) was used for the collection of the data in the present study. The data were analyzed by employing mean, SD, t-test. The results of the study showed no significant difference & relation between social skills and life skills of boys and girls of 9th class students. |
